Founding Partner

Tommy Fibich is a founding partner in the firm of Fibich Hampton. He received his BBA from the University of Texas and his J.D. from the University of Houston, where he was a member of the Order of the Barons, the highest honorary legal scholastic society at the University of Houston Law Center.

Board Certified in Civil Trial Law

Mr. Fibich is Board Certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specilaization, and is a member of American Board of Trial Advocates. He enjoys being a frequent speaker and lecturer across the nation on several issues. Mr. Fibich has been involved in numerous mass torts cases, including psychiatric hospital abuse cases, Fen/Phen, Baycol, Ephedra and Fentanyl drug cases, and Jehovah's Witness sexual abuse cases.  Recently Mr. Fibich has led the firm's involvement with BP economic damages cases, consumer fraud cases, pharmaceutical failure to warn cases, as well as the civilian contractor  

Stands up to big business for you

Mr. Fibich was plaintiff's counsel for the first Fen/Phen class action certified in the United States and won the first judgment against the makers of Fentanyl and the Duragesic pain patch.  In 2008, Fibich Hampton secured a settlement from KBR Inc. on behalf a soldier killed in Iraq while assisting the corporate contractor's work crew. He currently represents wounded drivers and the family members of those killed when a KBR convoy was ambushed in an active combat zone in Iraq.

In 2003, Mr. Fibich became a Texas Super Lawyer via a voting process sponsored by Thomson Reuters.  Mr. Fibich was featured in Texas Monthly after receiving this honor by Thomson Reuters. Each year since 2003, and through 2010, Mr. Fibich has been voted a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters.
