
Erin Copeland is a native Houstonian born in 1973. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Radio-Television from the School of Communications at the University of Houston. During undergraduate school, Erin clerked at Gulf Coast Legal Foundation assisting underprivileged families in all areas of family practice. She attended South Texas College of Law where she competed on the varsity mock trial team and served as an officer on the school's Board of Advocates, earning multiple speaker awards and South Texas College of Law Advocacy Scholarships for 1998-1999 and 1999-2000.
During law school, Erin began clerking at the firm where she tried her first case with her third year law student bar card. Upon graduation in 2000, Erin accepted a position with the firm and has since been working on all aspects of personal injury litigation, including nursing home litigation, product liability, automobile litigation, deceptive trade practices, and construction defect cases. Erin has also co-authored several seminar papers, including Multidistrict Litigation in 2002.
